For most office visits we encourage you to make an appointment. However we always strive to see our patients the same day for sick visits. We have an on call service and there is always a pediatrician available to assist you. Simply call our office number and you will be connected to the on-call doctor that will be happy to assist you. Remember if you have a life threatening emergency, call 911 immediately.
We understand that sometimes circumstances prevent you from keeping your scheduled appointment. If that happens, please notify our office in advance. Our scheduling coordinators will do their best to promptly reschedule your appointment.
Our Vaccine Philosophy
The Pediatric Care Center follows the immunization guidelines recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). For information about these vaccines and the diseases they protect against, please visit: http://www.aap.org/healthtopics/immunizations.cfm
Our practice believes that all children should receive the recommended vaccines according to the guidelines provided by the AAP and the CDC. Vaccines are safe and effective in preventing diseases and health complications in children and young adults. Regular vaccinations help children ward off infections, and are administered as one of the safest and best methods of disease prevention.
We are happy to discuss your concerns about vaccines at your child’s next visit.
